Henri-Georges Clouzot’s Inferno (L'enfer d'Henri-Georges Clouzot) catalogues the events that led to the collapse of possibly the greatest film never made. Serge Bromberg and Ruxandra Medrea's 2009 documentary serves as a cautionary tale for filmmakers everywhere.

This list is of the fifty greatest films I’ve seen during the past ten years, it took a while to compile and will doubtlessly change again in the near future as I watch more films produced in the 2000’s. Realism with twinges of lyricism. This is possibly the most accurate way I can summarise the work of Andrea Arnold, she’s not Ken Loach, she’s not Mike Leigh, she is her own woman with her own style and is arguably the best British female writer director working today.
